A Bali style 2 bed 2 bath beachfront home located in Palmetto Bay. The island-style architecture embraces the natural beauty of Roatan while still having modern comforts such as AC, and WiFi. Unobstructed views of the beach. A prime location just steps from the community pool, restaurant, and snorkeling. Come enjoy the quiet beach, free from solicitors and crowds from incoming cruise ships. This quaint island cabana will feel like a second home where you step directly into your own paradise.

Palmetto Bay Resort offers daily excursions. Please view the activities board located across from the bar at the Cove restaurant for times and availability.

Palmetto Bay Village also offers our guests paddle boards, hammocks, and pool lounges to use. The community pool with bar overlooks the beautiful ocean.

I am a diligent researcher when it comes to picking our next tropical getaway. Gloria's place almost seemed too perfect to be true, but it was exactly as described and photographed. A beautiful resort without the feel of a touristy resort. One could stay completely disconnected or enjoy the restaurant/bar/pool/ocean and meet other guests or longtime residents. Gloria's place is beautifully and comfortably decorated and furnished. We have been staying in many Airbnb's across the Caribbean, but none as perfectly homey as this one. There was not a thing we would have changed, if it was ours. The beds were extremely comfortable and appreciated the soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We cooked every breakfast and dinner at the house, as we wanted to be at our pace and timing and didn't miss a thing to be efficient! The water dispenser was highly appreciated and so was the TV set-up, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, sunscreen, and bug spray. Don't hesitate, book it, it is perfect!
We had the most amazing stay at Gloria’s beach house in Palmetto Bay. As shown in the photos, it is located right on the beach just steps from the water, so we had a lovely view of the Caribbean Sea from the front porch. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the essentials to make our stay comfortable. Communication with both Gloria and Salome was timely and very helpful. The pool is right beside the house as well is the Cove restaurant where we enjoyed some very delicious food and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home to anyone we know coming to Roatan!
Gloria was a wonderful host and we will definitely be back to Palmetto Bay and the Little House by the Sea. The house was so comfortable, was beautifully furnished, had a beach view from the kitchen and living room, and only steps away from the beach! I'm pretty sure we stayed during low season because we felt like we had the beach all to ourselves! We wanted a relaxing vacation, and this was the perfect house for that! Our teenage kids loved fishing, swimming by the pier, paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling right in the bay! Thank you so much for hosting us!
Paradise in Palmetto! Gloria's home in Palmetto Bay is truly a slice of heaven on earth. The house had everything we needed and more. Little details that matter were filtered water, sunscreen, and bug repellant being provided showed the owner's thoughtfulness. Well-equipped kitchen for those who love to cook while on vacation. You can step right onto the beachfront sand from your doorstep. Having the pool was perfect for alternating between salt water and fresh water swims. Then being right by the dive shop is ideal for scuba enthusiasts. Super comfortable beds ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of island adventures. This home provided the perfect base for our Rotan getaway.
This is an INCREDIBLE place that has everything you need to rejuvenate your soul and find the inner person you have been missing due to your daily grind. LOVE IT & we will be back!
We had a great time on the island! Gloria and Salome were easy to communicate with and so incredibly helpful! Everything listed is completely accurate. As a couple that travels quite a bit, comfortable beds can be hit or miss. However, the beds here were super comfy and waking up to that beautiful view of the ocean was amazing! The bungalow was clean, felt very safe, and it was easy to get to anywhere else on the island from that point. I highly recommend staying here.
The entire process, experience, property and interactions were so far above and beyond what we were expecting. It would take 10k words to give the detail it deserves.
Gloria's place is perfectly situated within the Palmetto Bay grounds right on the beach (less than minute walk straight across sand into colorful ocean) and just adjacent to the Cove Restaurant and pool and to us it felt like we were centerstage front row in Roatan for our 9 day Anniversary get away. The beach and grounds were kept up daily by a friendly crew and the inside of the house had everything necessary to feel right at home. The patio deck did not disappoint as it boasted a full ocean panoramic view creating a peaceful feeling with a hilly rain forest behind you and the sandy beach and ocean waves crashing in front view.
Gloria's beachside bungalow is absolutely perfect! The pictures portray exactly what the property is - beautiful. The home is clean, comfortable and has everything you need: beach gear, snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, kayak, chairs, etc. She thought of everything you may need. The beds and linens were also super comfortable. the location can't be beat. I felt safe in the gated community as well as the neighboring areas. It is close to West End for shopping and a faster pace and easy to come back to relax and enjoy the quiet community. The on sight restaurant food was absolutely delicious and the staff was always friendly. The brewery is within walking distance and offers a beautiful setting to enjoy food and drinks.
